The O'Hara Marlene Hotel is a charming small, two story hotel with 50 rooms. Located on Puerto Vallarta's main boulevard and directly across the street from Las Palmas beach.. The hotel is across the street from Plaza Genovesa, one of Puerto Vallarta's main shopping centers.. It is just steps from hundreds of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. There is a bus stop and a taxi stand right out front, so cheap transportation is no problem. It is about one mile to the boardwalk and the heart of "downtown" Puerto Vallarta. The courtyard is extremely pleasant, with plenty of shaded nooks and a large sun deck. There is an on-site restaurant, bar, and game room. Security guards are on the premises 24 hours per day
The rooms are all the same size, containing one queen size and one double bed , cable TV, private safety deposit boxes, air conditioning and large closets. An arrangement has been made that allows guests of the O'Hara Marlene to use the beach and all facilities at the Las Plamas Hotel, including the beach, pools, towel service, bar, palapas, masseuse, dive shop, and personal water craft. Las Palmas is right across the street from the O'Hara Marlene, on one of the best beaches in Vallarta.
