The Ohara Marlene is a clean, quiet and all around pleasant little hotel. The architecture is Spanish
Colonial, with a huge central courtyard, containing gardens, large pool, and patio and indoor
(under a palapa) dining. The courtyard is extremely pleasant, with plenty of shaded nooks and a
large sun deck. There is an on-site restaurant, bar, and game room. Security guards are on the
premises 24 hours per day
The rooms are all the same size, containing one queen size and one double bed , cable TV, private
safety deposit boxes, air conditioning and large closets.
An arrangement has been made that allows guests of the O'Hara Marlene to use the beach and all
facilities at the Las Plamas Hotel, including the beach, pools, towel service, bar, palapas, masseuse,
dive shop, and personal water craft. Las Palmas is right across the street from the O'Hara Marlene,
on one of the best beaches in Vallarta.
